Creating a branding concept for NYC-based artist and breakdancer Ken Fury that embodies the free-flowing, dynamic style of breakdancing is an exciting challenge. Below are some ideas and approaches for the logo and overall branding to visually represent Ken's artistic movement, energy, and roots in breakdancing.
These are examples of the branding I did for the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership. The patches are given to the school staff as well as graduates from the Program. The Rewinding logo was used for a large conference with various outdoor leaders. The director of the school wanted a patch that illustrated the different elements of nature and the two levels of the class.

I love the moodiness of film noir, and love the contrast of using abstract shapes over the stark black-and-white of the photos.
